The EnGarde® MT-PRO™ panel opens up a new level of protection and performance. This is achieved by adding stab protection. This panel provides true multi-threat protection while maintaining high standards and continuing the high level of comfort. The MT-PRO™ meets the stringent standards of NIJ .04 Level IIIA. But beyond that, the MT-PRO™ panel has been additionally tested against eight different types of ammunition! The MT-PRO™ also delivers excellent protection against bullets at the edge of the vest.
Of course, this ballistic panel is also SK1 certified. By integrating DSM's Dyneema® with proven TitanSkin™ anti-stab technology, it was possible to develop a panel that offers both outstanding ballistic performance and very good stab protection. The MT-PRO™ is one of the few products that stops the HOSDB P1 blade at 15 joules (<20mm) and a hypodermic needle at 5 joules, according to VPAM KDIW 2004. Included is the EnGarde® DeLuxe™ concealed carrier system. The design of this soft vest shell uses a moisture-wicking fabric (MicroFresh™) to better dissipate body heat. This breathable carrier solution provides superior comfort even during extended stays in hot climates. The versatile fit of the DeLuxe™ allows the soft ballistic panels to fit snugly against the body for maximum discreet wear.
